FamilySlate Beta Privacy Notice

This website version is a public summary for Beta users. The in-app privacy notice should be treated as the current version while Beta testing continues.

Before public launch: this page should be checked against the final production data flows and legal wording.

About the Beta

FamilySlate is currently being tested and improved. The app uses the information you enter or connect in order to provide the household features you choose to use.

Information you choose to use in FamilySlate

Depending on which modules you enable, FamilySlate may process household planning information such as calendar details, birthdays, countdowns, tasks, shopping items, recipes, photos, reward-chart information and device settings.

Feedback and problem reports

If you use the Beta feedback form, the information you submit is stored so the report can be reviewed and used to improve FamilySlate. Avoid including passwords, payment details or other information that is not needed to explain the issue.

Device and setup information

FamilySlate may need to store technical or configuration information so paired devices can belong to the same household and remember their selected modules and settings.

Beta changes

This notice may change during Beta as FamilySlate's features and technical design develop. Significant changes should be reflected in the in-app notice.

Contact and questions

For now, Beta users should use the feedback option inside FamilySlate for privacy questions or concerns relating to the test version.
