This page is a public Beta summary. Because the product is still being developed, the privacy information shown inside FamilySlate should be treated as the current version for the app.
Information used by FamilySlate
Depending on the modules a household chooses, FamilySlate may process household planning information such as calendar details, birthdays, countdowns, tasks, shopping items, recipes, photos, reward-chart information and device settings.
Pairing and device information
FamilySlate needs technical and configuration information so connected devices can belong to the correct household, remember the modules selected for that device and support device management.
Feedback and problem reports
If a Beta tester submits feedback through FamilySlate, the report is stored so it can be reviewed and used to improve the product. Testers should avoid adding passwords, payment information or personal information that is not needed to explain the issue.
Changes during Beta
The features and technical design may continue to change during testing. Privacy wording may therefore be updated as FamilySlate develops.
Questions during Beta
Beta users can use the feedback option inside FamilySlate to raise a privacy question or concern about the test version.
