Beta testing
FamilySlate is being tested with real households before wider release.
The core experience is working, but we're still improving usability, reliability and the details that make FamilySlate feel effortless day to day.
What Beta means
During Beta, features can change as we learn what works best. You may occasionally see small visual changes, revised setup steps or fixes that improve how FamilySlate behaves across different devices.
What we're testing
- Calendar readability across tablet, phone and desktop layouts.
- Device pairing and module visibility.
- Offline behaviour and reconnection.
- Shopping, recipes, photos, countdowns and other optional modules.
- Help, feedback and first-run setup.
How to send feedback
Inside FamilySlate, open Settings and choose Report a problem / Send feedback. That is the best place to report bugs, confusing behaviour or suggestions while the Beta is active.
Useful feedback includes: what device you were using, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and whether the problem happens every time.
Should I rely on Beta data?
FamilySlate is still a Beta product. Important household information should continue to exist in its original source as well, particularly calendars or information you cannot afford to lose.
