FamilySlate's Beta pairing flow uses one-time invites with a short validity period and a PIN. Connected devices can then be reviewed from Settings and revoked when they should no longer have access.

Keep the modules you need on the move, such as shopping, tasks and the family calendar.

Use a larger screen where setup and more detailed editing are more comfortable.
Adding FamilySlate to a home screen
iPhone or iPad
Open FamilySlate in Safari, use the Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. Launching from that icon provides the most app-like experience.
Desktop
FamilySlate works directly in a modern browser, which is useful for setup-heavy tasks or whenever a larger screen is easier.
